It all began with meagan.

Meagan Faith Price was a 15-year-old girl who loved God, her family and friends, hunting, fishing, and playing guitar. Her cancer, called Ewing Sarcoma, is a bone cancer most commonly found in kids and young adults. The cancer initially started in her left arm and was found after her arm broke while riding her pony. After intense Chemo and Radiation for a year, Meagan went into remission for about a month. For a while she, was able to attend school again until the cancer returned when the doctors found nodules in her lungs.

Meagan inspired St. Jude Family Fun Day and motivated so many people to help in her cause during her lifetime. She was troubled by the fact childhood cancer only receives 4 percent of all cancer research funding. Together, we honor and carry on Meg's legacy by increasing that number and helping to save the lives of other children battling cancer!
